Bank month end
The bank import and the bank reconciliation, run with an agent.
I drop the bank statements into a folder. Claude reads them, checks every line and writes down why. Anything that does not fit comes back to me, nothing is posted until I click Post, and the reconciliation is mine to sign. These are my own books.
Business plans
A business plan for a client, built with Claude.
The client fills in two questionnaires online. Claude does the market research, drafts the sections and builds the Excel model, and every number is checked against the model before the plan goes to the bank. I vet it all and agree it with the client.

From a spreadsheet to a working application.
My own accounts started as an Excel accounting model. It grew into a small application on my computer for transactions, reconciliations, period controls and reporting, with a separate read only view for review.
The same split works in your business: AI prepares and investigates, the software runs the checks, and you keep the decisions. A full accounting application is a larger project, not something one session delivers.
