The Reconciled Pack Course · Free with your email
The ledger export becomes a pack that proves itself.
This course teaches you to have Claude for Excel build the reconciliations into the workbook itself, so the pack you send the board traces back to the ledgers, figure by figure. The checks are formulas that live beside the pack: the sources balance, every account has a home, intercompany cancels, and one cell says whether the whole pack still reconciles. Move a line, add an accrual, take in a late journal, and the checks answer before anything goes out. Next month the same workbook runs again, new accounts flagged and last month's adjustments carried or cleared. You download the whole working pack: the step by step guide, an invented group's ledgers for August, September and October, a blank pack layout, the skill that runs each month, the exact briefs, the sign off checklist, and finished workbooks for August and September.
If you build the monthly pack in Excel from ledger exports, and every figure has to trace back to the ledger, this was built for you.
Who this is for
- Financial managers who build the monthly pack from more than one ledger
- Accountants who need every pack figure traced to its account
- Anyone whose checks live in their head instead of the workbook
How long it takes
- About 2h30hrs for the whole course, from the first August brief to October on your own
- The workbook and its checks are built once, in August
- September and October run in the same workbook, with the checks already in place
What this will teach you
- How to lock a ledger before you build on it, from a connector or an export
- How to have Claude for Excel build checks that live in the workbook, and prove each one can fail
- How to carry adjustments into next month so the pack still reconciles
The outcome
See the outcome before you start
Two pages from the finished September pack. The month ran in the same workbook as August: a new account flagged and mapped, last month's accrual reversed against the real invoice, and every check passing before the pack went out.

Here is what you will hold at the end, and what each piece does for you. A workbook that turns both companies' ledgers into the group pack and shows, check by check, that every figure still comes from the ledger. An invented group's ledgers for August, September and October, so you practise where mistakes are free. The skill that runs the month, so next month starts from the workbook, not from memory. The exact briefs to give Claude for Excel, blank and filled. The sign off checklist, because someone signs before a pack goes to the board. And finished workbooks for August and September, so you hold the destination before you start.
And the honest arithmetic. The whole course takes about two and a half hours, and the heavy lifting is August, where the workbook and its checks are built once. September shows the same workbook running again, and October is yours alone. Every month after that, the checks do the tracing, and the judgment stays yours.
